I don’t want to fall into the habit of doing this but will help out someone doing a good deed and needs a little supprt.Laura Linker is a pal of my brother-in-law Jim and she has decided to participate in a marathon in Florida as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training. She writes, “I have never run a marathon (let alone run for the bus!) before, so as challenging as it is for me to push myself to walk/run the miles, I know that it can’t be harder than undergoing the treatments for these diseases or watching someone you love endure the pain. This is the least I can do and I am thankful to have the ability to do this for them.“I am completing this event in memoriam of Robbie Greenberger (my friend’s nephew), in honor of little Aliza and for all individuals who are battling blood cancers.”Thing is, Laura has set an ambitious goal of raising $3700 for her efforts but is hovering just under $700 and needs some help. If you haven’t donated to support a cause lately, this is as good as it gets. You can support Laura through the LLS website or contact her directly at Lalinker@yahoo.com to mail a donation directly.
