My Farpoint Schedule

Posted on

As much of the country digs itself out of the storm, plans are being hastily rearranged from mundane household matters to major school decisions. We were closed Monday and Tuesday and are thankfully back in action today.

We weathered the event just fine, thanks. As a result, I am mostly packed and ready to return to Farpoint, which kicks off Friday afternoon. They’re moved to a new hotel in Towson, and we’ll see how that works out.

For those looking for me, I will be manning the Crazy 8 Press table when I am not attending the programming below. C8 will be back, as usual, although we have a small contingent given availability.

Saturday

Bob Greenberger – Sat 10 AM – Fitzgerald B/C

As always, I help welcome the bleary-eyed to the latest doings with my writing, editing, and teaching. Accompanying me will be Glenn Hauman and his assortment of trailers.

David, Marc, Howie & Bob’s Excellent TrekVentures – Sat NOON – Fitzgerald B/C

This will be fun! Celebrating Star Trek’s 60th Anniversary, I will lead Howard Weinstein, Marc Okrand, and David Gerrold in a chat about our overlapping journeys as we explored strange new worlds.

Crazy 8 Press Sat 3 PM – McIntosh

Michael Jan Friedman, Glenn Hauman, Aaron Rosenberg, and I will talk about what’s coming in 2026 from the usual assortment of authors. We’ll also announce and discuss a partnership for a project run by one of the other author guests.

Sunday

The Bob and Howie Show – Sun 10 AM – Fitzgerald B/C

Howie and I continue our fifth decade of filling the schedule with banter, bickering, and tidbits of Trek, pop culture viewing, and whatever else comes up.

Playing In Someone Else’s Sandbox – Sun 2 PM – McIntosh

Keith DeCandido, Richard C. White, and I will chat about the pros and cons of writing in a universe you don’t own or control.

Swing by, come say hi, buy a book, and get an autograph!
