The summer used to be filled with lots of convention appearances, as I represented DC or Marvel and I truly enjoyed being at the booth or out with freelancers. Many, many great memories were created during those years. These days, I make fewer appearances and tend to stay relatively local unless I’m brought out somewhere different (and yes, I’m available!).Here’s where you can find me this summer:June 11The York Emporium in York, PA. I first visited this wonderful used book store last summer at the behest of Mike Friedman who has done their annual sci-fi weekend previously. He brought with him last year most of the Crazy 8 Press gang and we had a fine time meeting folk and catching up with one another. This year, I’ll be back, along with Russ Colchamiro, Glenn Hauman, and Peter David.July 15-17Shore Leave. ‘Nuff said, right? It’s their 38th show and my 34th. We’ll be celebrating Star Trek’s 50th anniversary in a variety of ways including guests Star Trek guest stars Michael Forest and Barbara Bouchet along with Enterprise’s Anthony Montgomery. I’m looking forward to meeting John Noble and Karen Gillen.September 2-4I’ll be moderating panels once more at the Baltimore Comic-Con and spending the rest of the show visiting with friends all along artist’s alley.
