My Shore Leave 41.6 Schedule

Posted on

Regular readers know how much I love Shore Leave, the largest fan-run con, now up to 41.6. Yeah, they’d playing with the numbers since this year is a virtual con. The good news for those not in the Maryland area is that you can now attend and see what you’ve been missing.

All the details are here.

Howie and me from an earlier convention.

I have a pretty robust schedule over the weekend and if you’re at all interested in what I’ll be doing, here’s my schedule.

Saturday

11-12:00—If I Could Write Anything with Greg Cox, Joshua Palmatier, Rigel Ailur, Richard C. White, and Roberta Rogow. Most writers have at least one dream project, that property they’d kill to work for or book they’d love to do. Come find out what our authors want to write.

2-3:00—Crazy 8 Press. In a rare evening appearance, the complete gang (Russ Colchamiro, Peter David, Mary Fan, Robert Greenberger, Glenn Hauman, Paul Kupperberg, Aaron Rosenberg, Hildy Silverman, Geoffrey Thorne) chat about what’s going on with the little press that could.

3-4:00—The Bob & Howie Show. Now in its fifth decade, Howard Weinstein and I chat about movies, television, Star Trek, our current projects, and promise witty banter.

Sunday

11-12:00—eSpec Books. Publisher Danielle Ackley-McPhail chats with contributors Jenifer Purcell Rosenberg, Aaron Rosenberg, Hildy Silverman, Mary Fan, Keith R.A. DeCandido, Robert Greenberger, and Russ Colchamiro. She will show off a wealth of new titles, including the brand-new Systema Paradoxa novella series featuring a whole host of cryptid creatures rarely seen before.

1-2:00—Adam Baldwin. I will be moderating a discussion with the actor perhaps best known for his work on Firefly, The Last Ship, and Chuck.

2-3:00—The Movies/Shows That Influenced Us. Panelists Greg Cox, Richard White, Mike Friedman, and I discuss which shows and/or films from their youth inspired and influenced their writing.

3-4:00—Aimee Garcia. Here, I moderate a conversation with the actress who has appeared on Dexter and Lucifer among many other roles.

4-5:00—How did I get in this Mess. Howard Weinstein leads Christopher D. Abbott, Joshua Palmatier, Richard White, Keith DeCandido, and me on how, when, and why they started writing, both professionally and in general.
